Burdock Root Butter Cream

I love this stuff! It's very moisturizing. Initially I bought the Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream, but it's definitely not for my low porosity hair (it sits on top of my hair). I went back and bought the Burdock Root Butter Cream and it's absolutely perfect! It's still super moisturizing, but the formula makes it much easier to absorb into low porosity hair than the heavy cream. I used it to refresh a wash n go by lightly misting my hair with a bit of water then adding the cream. My hair was moisturized for dayssss and felt very soft. I will definitely be repurchasing it! I wish it were available in a larger size! For reference my curl pattern is 4a and I have very fine, low porosity strands. This was recommended to me by someone who has fine, 4c hair and she also loves it.

I love this cream and pairing it with the Moringa Tree Leave in conditioner, ultimate softness.

I used this stuff awhile back on my daughters hair and mine. She loved it!! And I do too. When I saw that I could purchase an item and get the other half off. I couldn't resist. I will make this go a long way. Smells so good too.FL

I liked the old formula so much better. It was much richer than the new one. The old one had MSM a, but the new one doesn't. The new formula also has glycerin as the second ingredient and burdock root, nettle, and oatstraw are no longer the first 3 ingredients after water. The new formula is not as moisturizing to my hair and it seemed thinner, so I compared it to my jars that I bought before the 16 ounce stopped being available and I can definitely tell a difference. This product has been my go-to for years, so this is really disappointing.

I have searched high and low for the perfect moisturizer for my natural 4C hair. All other products I have used were either too oily, didn't penetrate my hair, or left a sticky film on top of my hair. Qhemet got it right with the Burdock Root Butter Cream. The light formula doesn't weigh down my hair. It absorbs into my hair and leaves it hydrated and soft without the sticky film. I am loving this product. To those in R&D who may read this post, please do not change the formula. The product is excellent and has drastically changed my hair care routine for the better. Per the title of this post, the Burdock Root Butter Cream is my "holy grail" hair care product.

Started using the product not long ago but it seems that my hair feels silky and softer. I believe over time the texture and strength will continue to improve. From what I’m seeing, i’d give the product a 👍🏾.

I absolutely love this product. It seems like this is marketed toward fine and less textured hair, but let me tell you that this is a holy grail for my mega thick, type 4 hair. It moisturizes it for days and is not overly greasy. I don't even have to use the loc method with this. Just water and product. Even my hairdresser told me she likes the way this product feels in my hair. I wish it was stocked more frequently in the Big sizes.

This is amazing for my 4c hair! If y’all are discontinuing, give me the recipe so I can make it myself lol!
